TaviFringe 2026

TaviFringe is Tavistock’s own community fringe festival, celebrating music, performance and the arts in all their forms. Established in 2022, the festival was created to provide a free platform for local performers and community groups, bringing live entertainment out of traditional venues and into the heart of the town. Inspired by the spirit of fringe festivals, TaviFringe embraces a wide variety of artistic styles and welcomes performers of all ages and experience levels.

Since its launch, TaviFringe has grown into a much-loved annual event, attracting audiences from across Devon and Cornwall. The festival showcases the rich creative talent of the region, with musicians, choirs, dancers, actors, storytellers and community groups transforming Tavistock’s streets, squares and historic venues into a vibrant celebration of culture and community. Remaining free to attend and supported by volunteers, sponsors and donations, TaviFringe continues to embody the inclusive and welcoming spirit on which it was founded.

While the festival is free to attend, we take bucket donations that support Tavistock Youth Café in nurturing emerging musicians and help sustain TaviFringe.

Thursday 9th July

FREE EVENT (7-11PM): Enjoy a brilliant line-up of live music, bar, and Food Truck by Bon Bon Events at The Red & Black Club. A collaborative project with Tavistock Youth Cafe and TaviFringe.

Donations made during Thursday’s event and throughout the festival on Saturday will help support Young Lives Vs Cancer, the amazing work of Tavistock Youth Café and the future of the TaviFringe festival.
